Prior to starting his PhD in the Houseley lab in October 2021, Kieron completed his BSc in Genetics at the university of Leicester having spent a year in industry at GlaxoSmithKline. Having completed his BSc Kieron joined Mathew Garnett’s group at the Wellcome Sanger institute as a research assistant. Kieron is part of the BBSRC iCASE programme and collaborates with AstraZeneca in his PhD project to investigate the role of DNA replication as a mechanism for acquisition of drug resistance.
