Ali is currently pursuing his PhD in Immunology and Immunotherapy at The University of Birmingham, under the supervision of Professor Kai-Michael Toellner. His research is dedicated to developing a cancer vaccination aimed at disrupting self-tolerance mechanisms and impeding tumour growth. Specifically, he is focused on generating an anti-angiogenic cancer vaccination that triggers the production of autoantibodies, ultimately limiting tumour expansion. Ali was granted a Master and PhD studentship by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of National Education and is now furthering his studies at the Babraham Institute.
